Fandom culture is so toxic, on every level. Makes me sad for cute shows, games or even celebs who start off with a fun and loyal group of fans but with time they morph into some kind of evil army. She-Ra is gonna be next, just look what happened to Steven Universe and Voltron.

And for the love of god I'm not blaming the celebrities, I'm blaming the stans. The celebrities are often the ones who have their lives ruined by fans who have a sense of entitlement about what they should do, who they should date, what projects they should take.

My brother once dated an actor from a show that gained a small cult following and the torment he endured was out of this world. It's sickening.

but toxic stans are the face of stan culture because they get so much attention and they push themselves into the spotlight. Saying "not all stans" does nothing to help this situation. He's not blaming one fandom, he's saying that stan culture is toxic. And he's 100% right
