Made a tool that can scatter instanced meshes on a mesh based on a mask texture inside Unreal. As a next step, this should be fed into a procedural mesh component, to be able to bake a unified static mesh from them.

Thats a very nice idea actually. I can't assume that the user will manually edit the normals of the cards thats why I'm trying to make everything 100% automatic and one click. I'll definitely try this out!

Then this is how the workflow would look like: 1. Bring in the source meshes. 2. Pre-process the scatter meshes (edit their normals) - output them with up facing normal as new static meshes. 3. Do what I did originally, so they are laid out using instances. 4. Merge.
