Nice dude! You guys made heavy use of DF on Godfall? I was under the impression that it's such an expensive technique, but I guess aiming for the new PS5 hardware helped with good perf?

Thanks man! Yea lighting was dynamic so DF helped there too; I didn't use it too much on the shader side of things apart from lava/water/river stuff, and for PDO blend masking. So maybe I used it a lot haha

I love it! So correct me if I'm wrong but DF is one of those things that, if you are using it might as well use it a lot. Since you're already paying the price for it at runtime might as well make the juice worth the squeeze? Or the more you use its features the heavier it gets?
