many students overworked with no credit. Undermining people's skills and an inability to teach. Lessons consisting of Netflix viewings, aggression towards other tutors and multiple occasions of myself having to teach in his stead. He shouldn't be allowed to teach. (2/2)

This. Casto ran multiple 'projects' in which students could volunteer. If students couldn't make it to meetings, Casto publicly culled them from the Facebook group as a 'lesson'. He verbally abused attendees, degrading their work/appearance. I made my excuses and quit.

I’m glad you got out. He preyed on so many students ambition. He even held our trip to SF over our heads; using it as a way to coax work from people and cutting them from going if they didn’t live up to his standard. And then made me tell them who couldn’t go. An awful feeling.

He enjoyed abusing his power, that was always overt. Students don't know any better than to take his word for things. He preaches about getting them the jobs they want, and they follow him like a fucking pied piper only to be verbally abused and ridiculed. It's disgusting.
