Times like these make me grateful for being a TA as it looks like the job of environment artists might continue to uh, evolve, for a lot of projects

Yeah and I don't mind it. It's the combination of technical while still creating art that makes it fun
I kind of feel it'll become more technical for people cleaning up content to use, but also very much focused on set dressing a lot more than content creation. We will see in the coming years though!
