Times like these make me grateful for being a TA as it looks like the job of environment artists might continue to uh, evolve, for a lot of projects

VFX/offlineCG -> Games is really starting to converge ! Plus with USD used in both areas, pipelines can start to unify. Like we've seen for Virtual Production. Exciting times !
USD is something I really want to see pushed because current file formats for game engines just aren't great

Aswell as USD, GLTF 2.0 from Khronos is pretty amazing !
