Mindfulness has taught me to be calm, to focus on the present moment and to alleviate anxieties and worries almost instantly :) It also 'allows' me time to simply 'be' without any judgement or fear of failure :)

I think what I've learned most from mindfulness this year is that very little is what it seems on the surface. Mindfulness teaches us to look at this moment and to look past the obvious so that we can see what is true.

'This too shall pass' - recently there have been a lot of unhappy and negative thoughts and feelings for me and being mindful has reminded me that these are temporary but just as worth noticing as positive moments. It has also helped me at work where I have provided training.
