Proud of @taywiles' gritty reporting on far-right militias, and lucky to have edited the past couple iterations of it, including this fascinating piece from the border. Read it!

What do you do when your town becomes a backdrop for militia, online #MAGA activists, and the foot soldiers of the build-the-wall movement? hcne.ws/2JbMvxf

Both hugely reassuring, and absolutely terrifying, given the avalanche situation in that range, with slides obliterating houses full of sleeping people in Hinsdale County and completely burying Red Mountain pass in 60 feet of snow and debris. Be safe down there, Colorado friends!

Ha ha! Woah. Look at that line. It may still not be the biggest winter ever in the San Juans, but the trajectory of the snowpack graph has to be unprecedented. Wow. Up to 328 pct of last year, 154 pct of avg.

The NM legislature just passed an energy omnibus that will require utilities to be 💯 carbon free by 2045. The legislation also includes a blueprint for shutting down the San Juan Generating Station, while providing economic transition funds for the community. Big deal guys.

In our new episode, we talk about NM’s dubious distinction as a prolific #methane polluter, and why reducing methane waste could be good business for the state. Read: $$$. Plus, Michael Cohen jokes! With @jonwgoldstein @jonnypeace @JamesNMVC soundcloud.com/hotdrypod/mo-m

California gets all the attention, but this would make NM's renewable energy reqs even stronger than Cali's.

This show was so good. has a voice that could raise the dead. (I mean that in a good way.) She and her backup singers held an amazing, loooong harmonic scream in the encore set that I can't stop thinking about.

This package dropped soon after we posted our last episode, but it's closely related to what we talked about. It adds an additional, ambitious goal to the RPS: 💯% carbon free electricity by 2045. 1/2
