I'm accused by Barney Crockett of waving a white flag over St Nics legal challenge. We should still abandon scheme as the design is awful.
@offramps out of interest, what is your view of the St Nics proposal?

@callum_mccaig it's where a civic square should be, happy with pedestrianisation, concerned about traffic redirection, against office block -
@offramps my views are broadly similar. Not against offices but need to be of an appropriate size/design. -
@callum_mccaig they look too intrusive, open that whole space out and it will look great. -
@offramps there needs to be some development there as it is backs onto the M&S service yard. Not an ideal backdrop to a civic space. -
@callum_mccaig fair point. if the footprint could be curtailed on the Marischal college side then I'd be happy enough.

@callum_mccaig@offramps and the initial consultation had a majority against it of course. new design not inspiring either but less risky. -
@Davidofficer@offramps the risk is £5m a year for 30 years. £150m as opposed to £90m. Hard to say it is less risky. -
@callum_mccaig@offramps i'm not going to get into an argument on the risks of a now defunct scheme, it's been covered too many times before
