GM! ☀️
Submissions are in for the Solana Sandstorm hackathon, and the judges are busy reviewing projects. Winners will be selected by this weekend.
In the meantime, here's a preview of some really cool automated programs Solana developers are building with Clockwork!

I miss when twitter remembered that I don't like the "For you" tab
Also I think that tab used to update more than like once a day?

If you've ever used a language (or wacky JS library 👀) with a pipe operator, you'll probably think this is pretty cool!

Replying to @callum_codes @germsvel and @elixirlang
And the output of dbg in Livebook is even better if you add Kino as a dependency!

Why are they even included on price comparison sites when they do that and their quoted price is meaningless?

Very fun scam that Opodo and eDreams play where after you enter bank details they show a "contacting your bank" screen and then tell you the airline price has gone up
If you exit the price goes back. Until you get to payment details again, then the same scam

And of course because it's an interactive notebook, you can get the latest fetched transaction and write any custom code too
All the built-in rendering code is available in the notebook as a starting point :)

It's written as a Livebook, which is kinda like Jupyter for Elixir. You can make these amazingly interactive notebooks with all sorts of neat rendering tricks using the Kino APIs
- form controls
- tabbed outputs
- markdown
- interactive trees
- mermaid diagrams

Two things I've been wanting to play with: Kino APIs + APIs
So here's a fun new toy: fetch + render a Solana transaction using Helius in an interactive Livebook

Has twitter put me in the ad category of “people who decide winners of Oscars”?
Had laser eye surgery Wednesday (if you’ve been wondering where I am!)
When recovering, vision fluctuates a lot - was bad yesterday. Needed glasses really, but not the ones I used to wear.
Serious respect to iOS accessibility and the apps that do the hard work to support it!

Pleasantly surprised how responsive is banning accounts that are stupid enough to host scam token metadata there

IMO it's the easiest and quickest way to do simple data wrangling/visualisation if you know Python
WebAssembly is awesome!

Pyground (pyground.vercel.app) is a little side project of mine that lets you run Python + matplotlib in the browser on any CSV (or ) data you have
I tend to use it to enhance the data a bit (eg calculating extra columns), and then plot it super fast

I'm looking for a technical curriculum developer to help with some stuff on a part time contract (potentially full time down the road). If you or someone you know would be great for that please let me know! Retweets appreciated for reach.

On the phone right now with the @solanamobile Twitter intern.
If you *ahem* recently got airdropped generational wealth, do yourself a favor and pre-order SAGA for 100 USDC.
Show us a receipt from today and we'll send you a NFT from the @solanaspaces vault.

Intervals are killer!
Found a track nearby to try them on
4
TIL you can build custom workouts for eg intervals on Apple Watch
It looks like you can only configure it on the watch, which seems.. annoying
You can configure the screens of metrics views too which is neat!
All of this would be way easier on my phone though

Very slick, no worrying about entering the right amount or including the right reference etc. Decently responsive
Kinda cool to see that as mobile becomes the hub for making payments, the Solana Pay UX becomes the standard

The UK has a bunch of app-only (or mostly app-only) banks. I needed to use one to pay tax, was on my computer. They used a service to display a QR code, which when scanned on my phone redirected to my bank's app with amount/recipient/reference filled in, hit confirm, site updates

Introducing Playnet!
Playnet is a minimal runtime that can execute Solana programs on ANY platform.
The code is open source: github.com/solana-playgro and will be used in Solana Playground to create even better dev experience.

Raycast extension UI is basically just markdown, so it's pretty limited (can't use our normal QR code lib etc)
But the state stuff is all react, so we can listen for transactions like normal
Pretty fun API to play with!

Games that let their players make money are interesting and crypto enables that. But I’m really curious about apps that just use crypto rails behind the scenes without exposing it to users, and make certain things easier to build. Are game assets + marketplaces a good example?
