    So I read the 1300+ submissions to the first/second inquiries into QLD's termination of pregnancy laws and one of the most common arguments from anti-abortion activists was that if you decriminalised abortion you'd somehow increase the rate of abortion

    Agree. Its been trialled in Richmond, California for a few years now and since being intro'd the city has seen remarkable drop in overall rates of violent crime.

    Paying criminals to not do crime - nothing else seems to work, so maybe it is worth trying

    Agree. Feeling my spirits lift to see the hundreds of thousands of young people marching in the street and young mayors like Tubbs + Morse being proactive about creating change.

    Thankfully, those young people don't seem like they're going away in a hurry. As the groundswell grows, they will be harder and harder to ignore. I am truly impressed and inspired by these young people.
