I agree. This may change, if and when the WWW evolves to become a Semantic Web of some kind, but if that's not automated and robust, terms will do for topics... A colleague saw the code for Alexa, which does indeed find things pretty well, but it's not what I'd call smart.

There are people who think you still have to sort things into categories so that google can find them. Seriously. I was thrown out of an online community for insisting that google could find any mention of any topic on a page. Heresy! Burn the witch!

Undoubtedly not, but someone would have. OTOH in my 1st year at Uni I crashed through a fence (a rainy night on a downhill curve). I had to repair the fence myself. Fortunately it was a saw mill/lumber yard so material was at hand. When I finished, they offered me a job (3 wks).

Story from when Cash was Minister for Employment 2020 (before she became Industrial Relations Minister and then AG, currently Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, and plotting someone's downfall - she doesn't care who it will be). Her spots have never changed.

Politician and Statistics joke (yes there is one, or maybe it's a truism): Politicians use statistics like a drunk uses a street light. For support, rather than illumination.

I suspect Canavan has dummy deprivation syndrome (ask his Mum, although she probably has had enough), and Matty is doomed to wander the Earth in search of a rubber teet with its own ringpull and shoelace...

Toss up between Prue McGoonbag and Matt "rub coal on me" Canavan. Barnaby is close behind as he can get pretty frothy mouthed when he's not just ambivalent on just about everything. #auspol

And the one with less white hair was once an air traffic controller, and union member!!!

Did you know that one of these characters has a commercial pilot's licence, a master's degree in taxation & accountancy, added a letter to their name, so as to increase their numerology score from 99 to 100 & the other is fictional. LNP - home to the bat shit crazy.
Doctor Emmett Lathrop Brown, invented the 'Flux Capacitor' & the DeLorean time machine.
Sussan Ley, birth name Susan Penelope Braybrooks added an extra 'S' to Susan. http://www.periyakaruppan.com/images/Numerology.html

Developmental stages: Naivety + feeling of hunger, Wisdom and will to action, Selfishness + addictive habits, Curiosity and revisiting naivety, and then Confusion with impatience. What is next?

Coles in Brisbane are rationing tissue paper- 2x packs only. Trying to buy children's Panadol? Try 3x pharmacies before one can be purchased. Why is everyone so sick? Has there been a virus dampening our immune system mutating in our community?

Whether you like Labor, or think theyโ€™re about to betray all your carefully crafted dreams for utopia, itโ€™s fun not having stupid, hateful criminals in charge. That alone is progress. I love spring.

Hawke's critics are mostly simpled-minded fools with too much to say and too little in the ideas department. En avant!

The stage three tax cuts are a pile of garbage, and everybody knows it. Anthony Albanese could learn a thing or two from Bob Hawke, who walked back tax cuts promised ahead of the 1983 election. #auspol โฆ@GrogsGamutโฉ theguardian.com/business/grogo
Perrettot ape-ears in the madia as a strang man. A man of steal. Who has problems with vowels, and allies, and Christ!, and the economy, and the environment, and cheats at Scrabble (I heard).

To write an article suggesting Tim Smith was going to be a saviour for the Victorian Liberals tells me that you don't live in Victoria. One of the thing that upsets Victorians is that they'll never have the satisfaction of voting Smith out, which we would have done in November.

Janet was a player. As was Kroger, Costello, Kennett, Matthew Guy, Andrews, Mirabella and numbnuts. They were united in detesting Morrison's "Christ! faction" and anyone left of Malcolm Turnbull (himself included). OTOH, Tim Smith is an idiot with his shirt tail out invitingly.

Tim Smith wasnโ€™t removed. He resigned after ploughing into a house, drunk. An MP campaigning on law & order endangered the public. Unless you think drink driving is trivial @JanetAlbrechtsn, facts matter.
