Yes, 2012 was co-hosted by Gabon and Eq Guinea. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Africa_Cup_of_Nations … I'd guess that will become more frequent with 24 countries.

Yes, it's been done before. By Gabon and Eq. Guinea in 2012 and by Nigeria and Ghana in 2000. That could ease infrastructure deficit.
