        This is a myth! Average lifespan was very low due to deaths in childhood etc., Howver some people lived to be old.

        I have read that in the middle ages, 40-50 yo was considered very old. Always some exceptions.

        Not really. People lived to be pretty old but a lot had died as children or from infections.
