@PhyllisCopeland There you go again with judging about integrity @RookieKE
@OderoGogni The claim that only long attention spans are needed is open to challenge. Schools only nurture the former.

@calestous Do you have final examinations in your classes? I hope not. Because you wd be preaching water and drinking wine. -
@OderoGogni Now you're turning to judging. -
@calestous That was a question though. Your advice on how to improve the system? -
@OderoGogni We need to cater for diversity in attention spans. -
@calestous I wish the global education system did. Reality is that it doesn't. Not even in the Ivy League. -
@OderoGogni Your statement about Ivy League is a faulty generalization. I know that network. -
@calestous You know it as an instructor. I know it as a student. -

@calestous An examination based education system favours those who have the best recall capacity, or photographic memory or attention span -
@OderoGogni But not all like is about examination. Creativity may require different combinations. We need to nurture both but we don't. -
@calestous As an educator what are you doing different? -
@OderoGogni I nurture the diversity is human potential. Examples are just one part. -
@calestous True. But majority of education in the world at the moment is examination based. True/False? -
@OderoGogni Not all exams test for the same things. I am a trained teacher. -
@calestous I have done both Kenyan and North American education systems and memory based exams are integral in both. Promotes memorization.
