@KittyAntonik Many wars originate from sharp tongues. The war of words. -
@Calestous You've missed point of old adage; WORDS can't thmslves physically injure. Socially mature ppl do NOT respond w/phys harming acts. -
@KittyAntonik Old adage indeed. Words cause enduring injuries to the human spirit than swords do to the body. -
@Calestous Whatever emotional pain 1 experiences from words is up 2 receiver of words. THAT is the meaning of the adage<=lost on many today -
@KittyAntonik l agree. But behind every sharp tongue sits the readiness to spill blood. -
@Calestous Not necessrily. Many writers eg HLMencken & GBShaw had VERY sharp tongues but nevr violent. Holding ppl responsible 4 ACTS = key. -
@KittyAntonik Wit differs from insult. Emotional edge of former is dulled by intellect. None of this is evident in current fiasco. - 1 more reply

@Calestous None of the scripture tells you to kill innocent. Only those who crave violence use it to clinch their thrust for blood. -
@Mesky1 There is a lot of blood in many Scriptures. Go look again.

@calestous The time has also come for people to respect or not offend people by attacking their religions. -
@Simeon_5 l totally agree. Same goes for burning churches, razing shrines and oppressing women in the name of religion. -
@calestous That's sad. Religion is totally incompatible with violence. Religion means peace, love, sacrifice.
