How is rooting for someone who wants a second referendum on Brexit rooting for democracy? The people said Leave, and trying to overturn that is undemocratic.

Democracy means that politicians represent the people, but more than that they're supposed to represent the people's interests. Corbyn respected the vote, intended to get them the best deal, then allow them to make a decision based on what an agreed Brexit actually entails.
