Oh that little thing? That's just a dynamically generated heatmap of known Roman inhumations in #Lincoln from our new heritage database system, #Arcade. No you can't play with it yet.pic.twitter.com/3GbxiDaUwo

I don't mean to gloat, but it really is the most awesomest thing in the history of awesomeness. Or I may have database Stockholm syndrome.
Hah! :)
No Monument entry for these barrows in my time, maybe an Event. There is another version of his map - reproduced in LRS Historic Town Plans vol - which has much less annotation, where the word barrows is absent, as is much other text. Interesting!
Seems map annotations made later by Kendrick. https://tinyurl.com/ybcxd8g7 . Thanks @itsaboutlincoln. The "urns" ref, eg, would have been used as Source/Event for Roman cemetery Monument, as the symbols are named on original map, unlike barrows. Known barrows much farther east.
Very interesting, thanks for looking into this. So, possible lost barrows under modern developments, or coney hills, or just decorative illustration (though why mark them there and not in the other hilly bits?) hmm!
Def features and not just hills I think. The late Alan Vince drew 2 circles about here on first UAD prehist overlay as postulated barrows , but don't know his evidence. No mention in LARA which he co-wrote. What's a coney hill? https://tinyurl.com/ycqj7ed8
Most intriguing! Perhaps he decided Stukeley wasn't trustworthy enough? Coney hills are for keeping rabbits; seem to recall a few years back the barrow at Bardney was reinterpreted as one of these :)
I am v intrstd in King's Hill @ Bardney. It was opend in 1912 fragments of pottery were found with what was thght to be a piece of a skull. A friend and I did some dowsing at the mound on a cold and windy day last Oct and got some interesting results, returning on a warmer day.
