Are you in Bristol? I live down the road in Portishead.
Not today alas :) Paid a visit to M Shed last month, a fascinating little museum :)
Ah my friend, I would’ve met you for a hot chocolate, as payment for all the lovely tweets you’ve sent. Did you enjoy it? The main museum is probably about a mile away from there.
Ah, a lovely offer, thank you :) I did enjoy it, especially the mosaic and the Sea Mills Roman finds (which I had to illuminate using my phone's flash as the bulb in the cabinet was broken!).
I like the remains of the villa at Kings Weston, although you might need a security guard to guide you through that area. Oh so much to see. The lovely Cadbury Camp hill fort is only 5 miles from there and Stanton Drew stone circles are about 10 miles away.
I do like a nice hillfort! :)
