So fascinating ! Whilst exploring Porthminster and imagining possible locations for the lost chapel a couple of weeks ago, the children were amazed to find this . They are now convinced it's something magical to do with long lost chapels and chalices and ancient remains

I fell in it! Somewhere between '68 and '71. I'm alright now!
But it was much closer to Porthminster Point then. Probably in line with current Porthminster Cafe and very high up the beach. Went up to my neck and scrabbled out. Scary...
