These are all great resources. Two down, a couple more to go. Since they’re all a few years old, how have the more recent genetic studies on the population figured into all this? I think it showed that AS intermarried with, not replaced, native pop?

True! But.... How representative were beaker burials of the whole popn? How much does modern DNA being 90% derived from them reflect popn change then Vs later changes, demographic and political advantages cumulatively over time etc etc?!

I hope so! Those looking at the Anglo-Saxon era haven't really properly engaged with this, except in a few cases.... E.g. recent Nature paper on AS popn change using modern DNA incl a lot of assumptions etc!
