Note that no-one pretty much likes baboons, or there are so many anyway. Only $110 for running one over. But elephants and giraffes, that's bankruptcy territory.

By the way, that sign is meant for 'local' truck drivers, not for tourists. It's a main road. Given average income there is $4 a day or so, then yeah, those fines are hefty.
