And here's a thread of Sasanian glass found in Japan:https://twitter.com/caitlinrgreen/status/784722831619809280 …
Incidentally, looking southwards, likely late Sasanian finds travel even further than early Byzantine ones, even possibly into Botswana…! :)

Hah! :-D
Fwiw, am pulling together a comparable map of world distribution of 5th–7thC Sasanian finds—if know of any from pre-Viking Europe, do say :)
Also interested in any 5th–7thC Sasanian finds from N.Africa too, btw, just in case anyone on here has noted some :)
Only coins, no pottery of the type known from the Red Sea area or glassware as found in China and Japan, so far as I know.
Oh, forgot about rings! Yes, couple of possible rings, tho' Byz also possible :) Are Scandinavian examples from 5th-7thC contexts or later?
Thanks! I thought they were but wanted to check, just in case! :)
