Absolutely. Enslavement on an island, redemption by a certain man for the cost of a horse. Orally trans. origin myth to me.
Jordanes had some really great insights into early Slavic history, I wonder if he was just as rigorous as w/Gothic history 
.@caitlinrgreen I read that tale Caitlin :),but I don't think,my ancestors(the Goths) were in Britain before their migration to the south.
