The bull & horseman coins circulated close in time & place to Samanid silver, hoards of which have been found in Scandinavia.

silver is silver... :) good old times. no currency exchange needed. just weight scales..
The other coin was minted in the Gujarat area (if memory serves), much less likely to have a Viking connection.
