My favourite is 'Woonus', i.e. Onehouse in Suffolk. Say it in RP and the locals have no idea what you're talking about

Wonderful! :) Around here, I like 'Sollerby' for Saltfleetby! :) (and Loweth for Louth, which goes back to medieval period)

Pronounced "saltfleetbie" in my youth. Osbournby pronounced Ozunbee.
