What do people think of the Oxford comma? My dad proof-read a PhD chapter and was baffled by it, so I'm thinking of editing them out?

(Well, ok, I sometimes sneak one in a v. complex list but that's us. a sign that it needs to be simplified or semicoloned.)

@caitlinrgreen@Karanthir thanks! It does seem to be a personal preference thing. I'm so torn now!1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
I would think about clarity. Does the sentence need comma before and or does it read fine without?

Yes, can't necessarily just remove, may need to keep some or rewrite e.g. https://www.grammarly.com/blog/what-is-the-oxford-comma-and-why-do-people-care-so-much-about-it/ … :)
