      Major centres=Damascus area & esp Fars (Iran), exported to China, India+Europe; also apparently some production in Spain :)

      Egypt produces Rose Water.I had some relatives in my childhood used it to flavor drinking water before cooling it in fridges.

          it's nice. They used to add few drops for 1.5 L bottle of water & close the bottle. It's an old tradition.

          Rose water also used to flavor some sweets. It uses manly as a flavor. Try it.
