@caitlinrgreen with the first (York) find would it be possible to mount something into the 'horn' I can see a string being looped through it
@history_witan Sadly, the two horn-sockets don't connect, so wouldn't work.
@caitlinrgreen maybe a string went through the tongue to form a sort of necklace, I just have this feeling it may be used to ward of spirits

@caitlinrgreen perhaps something was as it suggests stuck in the 'ears', perhaps small pieces of antler, because to me that is what I see
