        @MZiegler3 > criticise, esp as they had a FLO (expert) there with them, and metal-detected finds have made a massive difference to data-set!

        @caitlinrgreen @MZiegler3 in my experience most coin hoards are found in undeveloped fields - usually little archaeology to find

        @caitlinrgreen That's the genius of the PAS, as far as I understand it, drawing detectorists willingly into the archaeological community.
