These images are really fascinating, Caitlin. I had no idea that so much at ancient sites is still visible without LIDAR.
It's amazing how much you can still see, isn't it?! :) Though some of them definitely come off better in aerial photos!
That's what I would think. A farmer could walk around those fields for years and not really know what was there.
