Good to see other guys do this, this was me when my step daughter wanted to play with make up and my son. Likely there mum was there to make look more fabulous. That was a funny night.pic.twitter.com/EwNRMBS1V2

To be fair she's really brought out your cheekbones.
I thought so. Not if I would make this my Halloween costume if I got a dress and high heels. My son would probably lose his mind from embarrassment. lol
Or jealousy.
Not sure, I did have to threaten him the other day if he does not listen to his mother he will have me walk him to school in my pj's and slippers to his first class. He is going through Dad is so embarrassing stage at the moment.
Ha, that reminds me of when I was 14 and I snuck out clubbing with my mates. I rolled out the club at 2am to find my mum in her slippers chatting to the bouncers waiting to take me home. Well played, mother.
That must have been a tough moment.
It was smart because she let me know that she was there, and she would make sure I was safe at all costs but also let me know she would embarrass the f*ck out of me if I ever tried to do stupid shit. At the time I was furious, but looking back I think it was genius.
@DaddyFiles I have 3 sons and one house rule is to never say, “that’s for girls”. If they say it, they get sent to their room to think about what they just said.
In fact, look what son 3 is wearing right now....pic.twitter.com/hVWL5Tzv2I
Mine get ‘do you need a WILLY to do/wear that then?!’ Usually loudly... They don’t do it twice
my lads favourite colour is pink and he took his wellies with pink hearts on into school. Some kids told him that they were girls wellies and he responded brilliantly... No they’re MY wellies
proud mummy moment
Check out @KARATEbyJesse and his pink belts at his seminars.
A great way of making all that were there equal. Not that these guys care about the colour of their belt. It means nothing to them, they just want to give 100%pic.twitter.com/HMmqS7adoy
Thank you for sharing!
Men reading this thread should put on some bright nail varnish for Sam and post pics on here. Could you ask any of your famous friends @caitlinmoran @salihughes
Gorgeous but heartbreaking - I was Sam. That feeling of sadness and disappointment in others is devastating. Think I’m still trying to get over it. Didn’t stop me growing my hair and wearing the She-Ra jumper.
My girls’ nursery was traditional, yet kids ran around in tutus, princess frocks, cowboy gear, spacesuits and played with ‘make-up’ regardless of gender. None of the kids cared, commented or thought it odd. This sounds like adults passing issues (well-meant/nasty) onto children.
Love this so much - this is how we all learn to be small over time. Growing up is when we decide not to play by other people's rules anymore. Beautiful xx
