Not a man but it breaks my heart how completely ignored men are during fertility treatment. We are trying to make a human TOGETHER, him and me, yet IVF clinics often barely acknowledge the men. When we lost our baby, no one asked my husband how he felt. He is grieving deeply too.

I couldn’t agree more..my husband was totally ignored during most of out treatment then miscarriage..I would do anything to raise more awareness of this xx

It takes two people to make a baby: yes it's the woman's body and we're going through the procedures, but we experience fertility treatment & miscarriage AS A COUPLE - yet men are treated simply as sperm donors. It's shit.

What's truly sad is that I was very much going to go along the lines of "regretting that my children won't ever care about the difference between a cog, a pinion, a gear and a sprocket wheel."

It’s all a spectrum David

To be fair, I'm not that keen on having anybody inside my flat.

Long after our two children were born, my wife asked if it felt weird that I didn't actually 'grow' the children myself and that pregnancy and birth basically happened 'away' from me. I'd literally never thought of it like that and now I feel inadequate.

Pretty clear that none of them have had to go through labour with its rips, tears and/or major surgery and none presumably enjoyed multiple orgasms.

Obviously...

Some might claim the multiple orgasm (thinking Sting and his tantric malarkey)
