Mine too. A dear friend lost a baby girl to a rare lung disease. As I was hugging him he started to cry uncontrollably.I felt his whole-body tremble in pain. Then I watched him comfort his other children w/o tears to be strong. It is the most masculine thing I’ve ever witnessed.

That's so sad. The poor man. But also crying in front of your children shows them that expressing their feelings is OK.
-
I agree. He cried in private, out of sight of the kids, so I think he was just trying to be strong for his kids to not upset them more, but I could see him struggling to hold it together for them. Heartbreaking day.

Well I'm sure all the political and social power makes for a nice sop.

Yep. When we hit 50, every white male is given a directorship in a large company. I'm hoping for Apple as I believe they are doing quite well. Fortunately a lot of guys die to suicide, or we kill them for showing emotions which means there are enough companies to go round.

Leave the planet to the edgy, cool people like you?

They probably wouldn't. Not sure how the annihilation of a race counts as racism but someone as one-tracked as you probably wouldn't understand that.

Today's men are emotionally torn between being what society tells them they should be vs what they are. That's where the turmoil is. Make men weaker..then watch them flounder when naturally women aren't attracted to weak men. There's no such thing as toxic masculinity.

Men should not need to be cuddled
-
I think its more of a case by case basis, but I think the mentality is "men are raised to not need cuddling" so does that mean girls are?
-
yes it's in their biological nature

The people saying men who need a friend during hard times need to “man up” are a perfect example of toxic masculinity. Why is it that when a man wants to have a friend to talk to or vent about his feelings in a healthy way, he is deemed as a wimp? I see that as responsible.
