My favourite is when they say Carney's remarks about the economy were false, only to be immediately reminded that Carney's remarks were followed by Carney's actions WHICH WERE TAILORED TO MAKE SURE HIS REMARKS DIDN'T HAPPEN.

I voted for it & would do every time. Knew which way I was voting long before the referendum, was just waiting for the day when I'd get chance to.

Thanks for that Chris. Send my love to Mrs 64505252 x

My business immediately suffered the day after the vote as the pound crashed and our stock was worth less and cost more to buy in than it had 24 hours before. I hear the same story over and over from businesses in my town.

Source of disgruntlement amongst those good people who voted Brexit thinking it would happen literally the day after. Now could be facing 2 year transition & potentially never-ending CU membership. All the more argument for saying they didn't really know what they were voting for

We should have encouraged that perspective, rebadged our existing membership, and forgotten about the whole thing.

Like the millenium bug. All that fuss and nothing happened. Because people.worked to stop things going wrong

The millennium bug didn't have 48% of the population secretly hoping it would be a disaster just so they could be proved right.

The short term impact report released by the Treasury in May 2016 specifically referred to the immediate consequences of a VOTE to leave, not the period after we ACTUALLY left. A bit of research would have cleared that up for you.https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/hm-treasury-analysis-the-immediate-economic-impact-of-leaving-the-eu …

Or Brexiteers who claim that we shouldn’t have a vote on the deal because it’s so undemocratic that it risks actual violence. Which is of course, FAR more democratic.
