Makes you wonder how we survived for a 1000 years without the EU and wonder even more how the rest of the world gets by without being a member

M8 - two World War, one Thirty Years War, one Hundred Years war, one war of the Spanish Succession, one war of Jenkins Bloody Ear ... I could go on but you might want to buy a Ladybird book with helpful illustrations
-
Maybe I will go on at that .. War o Austrian Succession, the German wars of unification and religion, the wars of Italian unification, the Napoleonic wars, the Seven Years war, the first Balkan War, the second Balkan War ...pic.twitter.com/BuaYZtXjLL

Like the “terrifying disaster” the day after the vote? Immediate recession, emergency budget and millions of job losses? Like that???
-
Err, you know that that was a prediction, right? And on the basis of that prediction, the BoE did this: https://www.theguardian.com/business/2016/aug/04/bank-of-england-all-action-response-brexit-qe-interest-rate-cut … Maybe that had some impact on mitigating the post-Brexit-vote economic damage?

They never know this

That is true Caitlin. Or we could stop Brexit first. Join us I hope on the big anti Brexit march on Saturday in central London. This may be our last chance to show how much opposition there is to the economy destroying lunacy that is Brexitpic.twitter.com/MInM4X1Kao

A deal was promised. It was going to be ‘the easiest deal in human history’ and day after the vote the German car manufacturers were supposed to be knocking on Merkel’s door begging for a very favourable have-your-cake-and-eat-it deal for the U.K. Not exactly what happened is it.

It's a good effort by Edwin but not balanced with the positives of leaving. Not a single mention of a blue passport.

Yes... but is anything more terrifying than undermining the constitutional principle of democracy?

It’s a shame we can’t ask the people of Germany c1932 onwards...

That was always the goal. It is the only thing that aligns with what has happened so far. We were told Chequers couldn't happen 2 years ago. Why else would may keep on pushing it? Because it is an option? Hard Brexit is the only goal.

I believe that belief helps bring things to reality - if the idea that you're believing in actually has some semblance of merit or at least understanding of what on earth it actually is. No one is clear what Brexit means so how can 1 believe so strongly in something so nebulous?

Can’t read it all, upsets me too much, a campaign won and lost on a crescendo of bullshit, no wonder it can’t be sorted
