Thank you for this you angel! Makes me feel so sick. One of this staff tried to convince him that feminism 'is a thing now' while he was ripping it down. Madness.

Oh my god.

I can't believe how hysterically he's acted. He looks like he's having a nervo.
-
I'm using the phrase 'having a nervo' from now until the end of time.

Whenever I see those T-shirts that say ‘Feminist’ I wonder if they were made by women in sweat shop conditions

Just explained to my 14 year old daughter why we will be boycotting Topshop for the foreseeable future. Do not underestimate the power of teenage girls!

On the bright side I’ll be spending the money I use to treat my daughter in Topshop to buy a copy of the book instead.

The 20th c feminism you mention was vital but job is done. Women have equal rights but there will never be equality and neither should there be bc men and women are different. A concept that feminists find hard to understand. They play the victim.
-
How can women have equal rights when we don't even have equal pay?
-
Women do have equal pay for equal jobs. It is illegal not to pay women the same.
-
As I'm sure you're aware, the problem isn't that men and women aren't paid the same for equal jobs, it's that women face barriers to getting those same jobs / working the same hours. E .g. lack of paid paternity leave / high childcare costs mean that the financial burden 1/2
