And women are voting for these people. Just had to remove a friend from facebook as she shared and liked a post from her friend with a huge list of behaviours women should follow to avoid getting raped. Women blaming women, its frightening

These "tips" included dont look men in the eye, dont be provocative, dont draw attention to yourself, dont talk about sex, dont sleep with too many men, dont go out after dark, and dont be out late at night.

What men do to prevent being assaulted compared to what women do. The world through the eyes of a woman.pic.twitter.com/UN5srVjbYy

Not explicitly true. I’ve held my keys, avoided jogging, and avoid eye contact due to fear. State of mind and living locations are reasons. Accept your overall point but dispute such simplicity
-
I'm sorry if you were the victim of any assault. I'm glad to hear you take precautions to prevent an assault. I have to wonder at what time you felt it necessary? I've been avoiding eye contact with men while walking down the street since the age of nine.
-
I have been many many years ago. So you actually agree - I dislike simplistic gender based analysis that doesn’t ever ask men/women. I totally agree women have it 1000x worse, but balance is needed
-
It is because of that you are aware and take precautions. For most women it is engrained in our psyche. Men rarely realize they can also be a victim until they already are.

@realDonaldTrump Is not fit for office on that clip alone. Makes me despair for any progress for kindness and humanity
-
When you think the man can sink no lower. And the cheering people behind him. I despair!
-
That's exactly what I felt. He has no depths to which he will not sink. We've all got to be the difference this world needs

It’s the women’s fault for not talking to men about the abuse they’ve experienced? Did I read that right?
-
I suspect not.

Women's failure to talk about their sexual assaults is not the problem: men sexually assaulting women is the problem. Politicians not checking themselves, not bothering to inform themselves of the lives of 52% of their constituents is the problem

Also the super creepy “beautiful daughters” bit and pause. The kindest interpretation of which is that women and girls only have one function in their/his worldview ie to be mute and look pretty. The other interpretations.... well ugh.

Would YOU talk to these guys about it? Fear is a terrible silencer on many levels!

Sickening as it is, we have all encountered men just like this at some point or another - misogyny is blood curdling real, the patriarchy is real, the reason women stay silent is real. Those "Women for Trump" though. I'm torn between pity and abject horror.
-
Statistically many of them will have had some bad experience too, and were probably too scared to report or just not believed. I wonder if the penny will finally drop with that demographic. It’s like Stockholm Syndrome at the moment!

And so it continues. Q: "What is your most vivid memory of the incident?" A: "The laughter, the uproarious laughter between the two. And their having fun at my expense".
