Some day I will partner with some of my former clients on a company that develops book deals, life right agreements, documentary deals, etc. it'll be with the goal that THEY, the clients are the ones -- and not some random network -- profiting from the hell they've survived. 3/

It's not like it's a huge honor for clients to spend a day drudging up their most vulnerable painful moments FOR FREE. Just so the network can charge hundreds of thousands of dollars for advertising. 4/

How horrible. I get approached by entertainment media often requesting to connect them to a vision of homelessness that they feel would make great TV, but in the real world, their concept just doesn't exist or would hurt people. They never ever consider the harm it may cause!

Solidarity. I grasp that storytelling and personal anecdote is the best way to emotionally impact an audience. However, you and I spend months/years earning our clients' trust and these randoms have done nothing to earn ours.
