Thanks for noting this. The Government of Canada's response has been too equivocal for this situation. We must rigorously maintain the distinction between non-combatants and combatants and between unrest and combat. Israel used grossly disproportionate force.

Yet Hamas stated that 50 of their members we're killed. Hamas usually does not equate to "non combatants" or "unrest".
