I have friends who are members of a religious minority that is severely persecuted in Iran, who risk return to visit dearly missed family and a beloved homeland. I can understand.
I am outraged to learn that Maryam Mombeini, widow of Kavous Seyed-Emami, was barred from leaving Iran. We demand that, as a Canadian, she be given the freedom to return home.
