Our government is extending the wage and rent subsidies and Lockdown Support until October 23, 2021. The wage and rent subsidy rates are also increasing for the period from August 29 – September 25, 2021, to make sure workers & businesses have the support they need.
Workers in certain regions and sectors continue to need support so we’re extending the Canada Recovery Benefit, the Recovery Caregiving Benefit, & the Recovery Sickness Benefit. The Recovery Benefit will increase by 4 weeks to help those who cannot get a job yet.
