The budget contains critical COVID income and business support, including the extensions of:
the wage subsidy
the rent subsidy
recovery benefits
and the introduction of the Canada Recovery Hiring Program.

To support low-wage workers, the budget contains the expansion of the Canada Workers Benefit so more full-time workers will receive the benefit, and would provide extra support to nearly 1 million additional Canadians.

The budget will also enable a Canada-wide, early learning and child care system so young families can have access to affordable and high-quality care. This is good social policy, and it is good economic policy.

Maybe you should drop the bomb and let Canadians know that the CRB will be cut in half in a couple of weeks sending millions to the food banks and streets. These people all want to work but Unemployment rates are really high.

We wouldn't need that if things were affordable, the rich are stealing out homes. Crooked professionals, manipulation, greed, robbery. How is it possible nobody can afford anything? Even home owners who sell are having a hard time. Our homes are being taken from us, obvious. EVIL

Canada has been destroyed...criminal behavior & ignorance has taken/reduced the quality of life we once had. There is going to be a massive crisis for housing & it will create extremism as we already saw with Ford...people break under suppression

Businesses in BC and elsewhere cannot find enough workers. Evidently, these measures are no longer needed. But, they are politically expedient to gain NDP voters. By the way, will the massive deficit and debt pay for themselves? Majority govt = tax increases.

Now people in August have to live off of $540 a payment of crb not sure how thats going to work for alot of people... better open everything up then!

has there been anything at all for seniors, our income has stayed the same yet everything has gone up in price considerably, are we even considered ever. We are the ones that vote, throwing a bone to us might be a nice gesture
