Our growing population is one of our great economic strengths. And a growing country needs to build. We need to build housing. And we will.

None of these policies will make housing affordable but I shouldn't underestimate you. You really try your best to look as if you are doing something for renters. Not sure if this will work in the information age though, will see.

Warm that's obviously not enough considering the millions of disabled people are only allowed half of what CERB was, which is already less than the average 1 bedroom rental.. 35000 units is laughable, and so is the support for those that literally cannot provide for themselves.

Affordable housing is definitely needed, but as a landlord, I see the impossible situation pple on ODSP, especially single parents, face in trying to afford rent let alone food& basic necessities. The Ontario govt has abandoned them,I hoped the Fed Gov't would help to some degree

There is a big difference btw ensuring housing is affordable and investing in 'affordable' housing. When someone who has worked for a big co saved all their life can't afford decent housing the problem is cost of living, poor policy +lack of regulations(multiple ownership, etc)

Ministré, housing in Niagara increased x over 20% in the last yr. Locals can't afford the prices bc their salaries arn't big city salaries. Realtors don't are part of the problem. Mine shared that she owns SIX properties. Houses r for living, not for profit (they get first dibs)
