One of the most striking aspects of the pandemic has been the historic sacrifice young Canadians have made to protect their parents and grandparents. Our youth have paid a high price to keep the rest of us safe.

You've been neglecting disabled Canadians of all ages forever..

Where is CESB for students who won't be vaccinated until late summer? We spent a year in quarantine and now we get to go catch a variant? CRB doesn't cover us, students are falling through the cracks again.

That can, and only will, happen if something is done about stagnated wages and housing. The first and easiest step you can take is to erase school debt

They are pumping up the prices of housing and education. Wages aren't going anywhere and the only debts forgiven the last year? All housing related so the wealthy can buy more spec properties.

And no youth are ever disabled, right? I’d like to think there’s a special place in hell for those who tout “inclusion” & “disabled” in their title but do anything & everything BUT include disabled (even when under direct orders to do so) and if there isn’t, there ought to be.
-
You’re probably not aware but disabled can’t buy food or medicine or pay rent with promises of consultations. Completely neglecting disabled during a pandemic with hugely increased costs is beyond ignorant, it’s criminal.

Thank you, Minister Freeland. I have been saying this for a year and I’m glad someone else is too.

You know what would really help pay for this? A wealth tax.
