Low-wage workers in Canada work harder than anyone else in this country, for less pay. In the past year they’ve faced both significant infection risks and layoffs.

We propose to expand the Canada Workers Benefit - extending income top-ups to about a million more Canadians and lifting nearly 100,000 people out of poverty. And this budget will introduce a $15 an hour federal minimum wage.

Good start but sadly in the major cities $15/hr is not a livable wage ... needs to be $20/hr
