Tonight I co-chaired the third meeting of the Task Force on Women in the Economy with @MonaFortier. We continued our discussions on addressing gender equality in the wake of the pandemic to further support women in the workforce. http://bit.ly/2PtGK17

women need a chance to get hands on payed training at work to get into the work force... no one has money for school!!! this is a major barrier to accessing a job that can cover the necessities and a livable income... 1/2

Thank you for providing space for these important conversations. Hopeful that a publicly funded #childcare system is at the forefront of these discussions. #ECE #earlyyears #ChildrensRights #WomensRights

Without disability representation, this is not an intersectional task force. 25% of the population is disabled more are chronically ill and accessibility issues affect women’s ability to get out of poverty and get housing.

Create an affordable and accessible national daycare/child care program and a Universal Basic Income. Do these things this year. Enough of the endless consultations and empty promises.

Just a thought.. I'm completely in support of womens rights and total equally. On the same hand, I believe men need support also. Men have been impacted by quite a bit, and I'm a believer that healing an imbalance mean that both women and men need individual support.

this "gender equality" nonsense reminds me of tactics used during colonial times. You know, where they established laws that gave white people rights black people didn't have. As the old roman saying goes, Divide et Impera. Thanks!
