Is there going to be anything done for people who were on EI just before the first wave and now have exhausted their benefits as they weren’t transitioned to CERB. Perhaps an extension of their benefits as the job markets are pretty grim and lock downs are becoming inevitable?

I believe, the transition from CERB, if there isn't one, there should be UBI for the citizens/workers — who have been working more than 40 years — now in their 60's..
Pandemic — might be as well a permanent lay-off for these 60's workers.
