In Canada, more important than ever as we move closer to the left with this current government.
#BlackRibbonDay, the anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, reminds us to never take freedom for granted and to never be complacent in the face of authoritarianism. We must not forget the lessons that the dark days of Communism and Nazism in Europe have taught us.

It's sad to see the descent into authoritarianism of the United States and Alberta, with their similar far-right conservative regimes. Canada dodged a bullet when we rejected the CPC.
