Canada is dismayed by the most recent escalation of tensions in Israel & Gaza, and condemns rocket fire from Hamas into Israeli communities. The killing and injuring of innocent civilians must stop. Canada encourages Israelis & Palestinians to pursue a peaceful solution.

"[Canada] condemns rocket fire from Gaza into Israel." What about the inhuman conditions in Gaza? What about the killing and maiming of hundreds of Gazans in the last few months by Israeli snipers? What about the bombing of Gaza by fighter jets? What about the blockade?

They condemned Hamas, didn't they. They are causing the inhumane conditions. As for the blockade, please refer to the HUNDREDS OF ROCKETS BEING FIRED INTO ISRAEL. Cause and effect, much?
